Precision air conditioning
Precision air conditioners are used for Data Centers, Telecommunication sites, Archives and other places where controlled temperature and humidity is required.
Precision air conditioning (PAC) is a system that controls the temperature and humidity in a room to a precise level. It’s used in critical environments like data centers, hospitals, and laboratories.
How it works
- PAC removes heated air from a room and transfers it outside
- The evaporator coil absorbs heat from the warm air in the room
- The refrigerant changes from a liquid to a gas as it absorbs heat
- The refrigerant travels to the compressor, which compresses it
Features
- PAC can maintain a constant temperature and humidity
- It can monitor and control temperature and humidity within a narrow tolerance
- PAC can humidify and dehumidify to maintain a constant humidity level
- PAC can be easily installed and expanded in capacity
- PAC can be maintained from the front
Benefits
- PAC ensures that IT equipment performs at optimal levels
- PAC helps prevent excessive heat from damaging equipment
- PAC helps prevent unplanned downtime for a business
